It’s a great time to be a woman in fly fishing. Although fly fishing has traditionally been seen as a gentleman’s domain, women are now the sport’s fastest-growing demographic, according to this New York Times article. Women are coming together to support each other, teach each other, and enjoy the serenity of the outdoors together.

But there are still fewer women than men in fly fishing. With so many male guides and male-run outfitters, it can be hard for women to feel at home in the sport. That’s why fly fishing ladies need to find their tribe in order to feel supported.
